A separate ministry for non-resident Indians who want to invest in the state
Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said that the state government will open a separate ministry for non-resident Indians who want to invest in the state.
As per the guidelines or norms of the Central Government, a separate ministry will be established here as in the state of Kerala.
Before the assembly elections, Congress mentioned in its party manifesto that it would set up a separate ministry for non-resident Indians. He said that the vice-president of the NRI cell of the state has already been appointed.
We will set up a secretariat to facilitate NRIs. Many of them want to invest in Karnataka. Shivakumar said that he wants his homeland to be prosperous.
